The fuel entering the filter head flows down through the vertical media fold, so that large water drops and contaminated particles directly fall into the collection bowl. Smaller water droplets converge on the specially treated media surface until they are large enough to be dropped into the collection bowl. Small contaminated particles are blocked on the surface of the medium, while smaller particles are kept deep in the medium. Finally, dry, clean engine fuel is delivered to your engine.
