Fuel filter housing is a plastic housing for fuel filter. It has low cost and light weight, but its function is the same as the common metal type diesel fuel filter kit. Fuel filter element is located inside the fuel filter canister and is used to filter various pollutants. During maintenance, only replacement filters are required. Use fuel filter housing to convert a cartridge style filtration into a spin-on style.

Fuel filter is used to remove dust, small metal particles and other impurities in the fuel and protect the operation of the engine. However, most of the traditional filters are of metal structure, which can not be reused or partially used during maintenance, so it is necessary to replace the whole filter; Fuel filter housing are the whole plastic. Fuel filters can go bad because of silt in the gas suddenly. This is a problem with gas storage tanks anywhere. Silt is a well known and common problem.

Fuel starvation happens when the vehicle can no longer filter the fuel. More forms of expression are your cars or trucks can’t climb hills or accelerate like it used to. If you have continuing problems, you can install a new or larger fuel filter or two in parallel. Or if your vehicle operates in extreme conditions, or where fuel quality is uncertain, we recommend the installation of additional primary fuel filtration to provide added engine protection. 

More than 90% of the fuel leakage problems are caused by the rubber sealing ring inside the gearbox because of alternation of cold and warm temperature for a long time, which leads to the loss of a large number of plasticizers and softeners, corrosion, aging and hardening of the sealing ring. At first, the oil seeps, and the oil drips slowly. After a long time, the sealing ring breaks.

Great influence. Clogged fuel filter will affect the intake volume of fuel, and insufficient intake volume will make the engine difficult to start.

The main function of fuel filter is to remove impurities in fuel. If the fuel filter is too dirty or blocked, the main performance is: when the fuel valve is on, the power is slow, or can’t afford, and the car is difficult to start. Fuel filter is to remove water and impurities. When the engine is working, the fuel enters the settling cup of the filter through the inlet pipe under the action of the fuel pump.

  • Afew cylinders are not working or in poor working condition
  • Insufficient cylinder pressure
  • The oil chassis is faulty.
  • The circuit and oil circuit are in fault
  • Valve phase is abnormal
  • Thetemperature of the engine is too high.
